CHARLESTOWN —
Funeral services for Steven Wayne Haworth, 57, of Charlestown, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 9, at the Fisherman’s Paradise Christian Church in Henryville with burial to follow in Charlestown Cemetery. He died Friday March 5, 2010, at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born on March 16, 1952, in Clark County, the son of Ralph and Esther Haworth, who preceded him in death. He was a member of the Single Action Shooting Society, the NRA, a retired member of the Charlestown Volunteer Fire Dept., and a member of Fisherman’s Paradise Christian Church in Henryville.
He is survived by his wife Sandra Jones Haworth; sons Eric Kirkham, of North Vernon, and Maurice Jones Jr., of Charlestown; daughter Heather Haworth, of Jeffersonville, four brothers; four sisters; 11 nephews; four nieces; and three grandchildren
Visitation will be on Monday after 4 p.m. at the church and on Tuesday beginning at 9 a.m.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to his church.
Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is in charge of arrangements.
