CLARKSVILLE —
Funeral services for Rose Marie Shipley, 64, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Saint Michael’s Catholic Church, Bradford, with burial in the church cemetery. She died March 4, 2010, after a fight with myeloma, a cancer.
She was the wife of veteran broadcaster, Alden P. Shipley. The couple had 40 years of bliss but no children.
Survivors include her siblings Tim Welsh, of Clarksville, Theresa Mayberry, of South Carolina, Tom Welsh, of New Washington, Lorna Marie New, of Lanesville, Matthew Welsh, of Clarksville, Jude Welsh, of Clarksville, Anthony Welsh, of Jeffersonville, and Rita Louise Pagan, of Paris, Ky.
No visitation has been scheduled.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made out to the Rose Shipley Memorial Fund, Stockyards Bank Highlander Branch.
