Marc Connor

63; of Louisville

LOUISVILLE —  

A remembrance and celebration of life for Marc Connor, 63, of Louisville, will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, March 12, in Chalice Hall at Beargrass Christian Church, 4100 Shelbyville Road, Louisville. He died at his home on March 9, 2010, surrounded by his loving family who cared for him throughout his courageous battle with Multiple Systems Atrophy.  

He was a civil engineer, retiring after 31 years of dedicated service with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2002 as a contract manager in the construction division. He loved sailing and was a member of the Lake Monroe Sailing Association for over 15 years. 

Survivors include his mother, Gisele Connor; wife, Joyce; daughters Sara Brown and her husband, Josh, and Emily Rawlings and her husband, Robert; stepson, Patrick Farris; and grandchildren Jocelyn, Logan and Molly.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Dee Brock; father, Herman J. Connor; and stepson, Chris Farris.
