A funeral Mass for Patricia A. Sammons Rake, 72, of Starlight, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Starlight, with burial in the church cemetery. She died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Starlight and employed as a hostess at Joe Huber Family Restaurant.
She is survived by her sisters, Lona Parr and her husband, Jim, Betty Dooley, Nancy Doutaz and her husband, Denny, and Tammie Vitt and her husband, Mike; brother, Dan Sammons and his wife, Vickie; stepchildren, Diane Martin and her husband, Larry, Terri Sprigler and her husband, Gene, Marilyn Rowan and her husband, John, Mark Rake and his wife, Cheryl, and Paula Andres and her husband, Greg; 17 step grandchildren; 13 step great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Rake.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Newcomer Funeral Home, New Albany.
