Funeral services for Denis “Kirk” Cunningham, 57, of Memphis, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Henryville. He died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, at his home, surrounded by family and friends.
He retired from Mac Construction after 32 years of service.
Survivors include his mother, Earline Cunningham, of Sellersburg; wife, Lisa Cunningham, of Memphis; son, Kyle Cunningham and his wife, Rachel, of Memphis; daughter, Lindsey Bradshaw and her husband, Aaron, of Henryville; brothers, Stephen Cunningham and his wife, Patty, of New Albany, and Ronald Cunningham and his wife, Pam, of Sellersburg; grandchildren, Spencer, Brody and Bristol; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Glen Cunningham.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, and after noon Thursday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hosparus of Southern Indiana.
