Funeral services for Shelba Jean Thomas, 68, of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17, at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, with burial in Kraft Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. She died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New
Albany.
She retired from General Electric and was a member of Northside Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Russell Wayne Thomas; a son, Terry Knoy, of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; a daughter, Caherine Boyer and her husband, Jim, of Apopka, Fla.; step-daughters, Jody Thomas, of LaGrange, Ky., and Shelly Thomas, of LaGrange, Ky.; a sister, Lillian Knapp and her husband, Jim, of Louisville; and a step-granddaughter, Amber.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday and after 9 a.m. on Wednesday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Northside Christian Church or the American Humane Society.
