Funeral services for Nancy Carol Blanchard, 77, of Jeffersonville, will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at Spring Valley Funeral & Cremation Services, New Albany. She died Monday, Oct. 19, 2012, at her home.
She was born Oct. 9, 1935 to Ward and Helen Roe in South Haven, Mich. She was a telephone operator and a loving housewife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a Methodist and member of the Grand Valley Cap & Ballers Gun Club.
Survivors include a son, Walter Everett Blanchard; three daughters, Deborah Jean Barrs, Kimberley Ann Droddy, and Ellie Vowell; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may go to Amedisys Hospice Care of Jeffersonville, 305 Quarter Masters Court, Jeffersonville.
