A memorial service for Wanda E. Hargis Catt, 80, of Jeffersonville, will be at noon Saturday, Nov. 3, at Kraft Funeral Service, Charlestown Road Chapel, New Albany. She died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Wedgewood Healthcare Center in Clarksville.
She was born May 23, 1932 in Vincennes, to the late Walter and Lily Hargis. She was a graduate of Indiana University Southeast and a retired caregiver from Home Instead Senior Care in Louisville.
Survivors include five children, Sandra Freiberger and her husband, Ron, Stephen B. Catt and his wife, Phyllis, Robert B. “Brad” Catt, Bruce A. Catt, and Brian P. Catt and his wife, Becky; brother, Robert Hargis; grandchildren, Elizabeth Iredale, Lara Hammond, Robert Catt, Nicholas Catt, Gavin Catt, Sarah Catt, Emily Catt, Brianna Stumpp, Kristan Smithson, Logan Catt, and Chris Catt; and seven great-grandchildren.
Memorial visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, at the funeral home.
