Endris, Margaret E. ‘Patty’ Hasty

78; of Clarksville

A funeral Mass for Margaret E. “Patty” Hasty Endris, 78, of Clarksville, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Clarksville, with burial in Holy Trinity Cemetery, New Albany. She died Tuesday, July 27, 2010.

She was a long-time and very active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Clarksville. She enjoyed traveling, horse racing, and her work as a medical assistant. She was also a former employee at the Jeffersonville Quartermaster and the Charlestown Ammunition Plant. She followed Indiana University athletics and cherished her grandchildren immensely. She was born Nov. 19, 1931, in Louisville.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 59 years, Paul A. Endris; daughter, Mary Pat Willis and her husband, Jim, of Ft. Myers, Fla.; sons, Paul A. Endris II and his wife, Susan, of Carmel and Daniel V. Endris and his wife, Debbie, of Charlestown; grandchildren, Kristin Willis, of New Albany, Jacob and Chelsea Endris, of Charlestown and Elaine Endris, of Carmel; and sisters, Janet Staashelm, of Clarksville and Sharon A. “Sammy” Spalding, of Columbus, Ohio.

 Visitation will be at Newcomer Funeral Home–Southern Indiana, New Albany, from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with a Rosary prayer service at 7 p.m. Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
