Funeral services for Barney Allen Jones Jr., 79, of Jeffersonville, will be at noon Thursday, April 26, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown, with a graveside service at 3 p.m. Thursday, at Highland Memory Gardens, Mt. Washington, Ky. He died Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at his home.
He was born on April 9, 1933 to Barney A. Jones Sr. and Mary Ellen Powell Jones in Jefferson County, Ky. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, and a retired co-owner of Bethlehem Packaging and Die Cutting.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Lee Corbin Jones; daughter, Vicky Denney and her husband, John, of Jeffersonville; granddaughter, Alicia Kane, of Jeffersonville; and great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Alexander “Jak” Kane both of Jeffersonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 12 siblings; and his grandson, B.J. Denney.
Visitation will be after 9 a.m., at the funeral home.
