William D. Prichard, 65, of Scottsburg, formerly of Sellersburg, died Dec. 28, 2012, at Federal Medical Center in Butner, N.C.
He was a retired teacher from Scott County School System, an Eagle Scout and an avid wood worker and residential architect.
Survivors include his wife, Donna S. Prichard; sons, Dylan Prichard, of Jeffersonville, and Forrest Prichard, of Franklin; daughter, Molly Sue Prichard, of Scottsburg; brothers, Larry Prichard and his wife, Rose, of Lynn, and John Prichard and his wife, Carolyn, of Salem; sister, Robin Adams and her husband, Harold, of Sellersburg; grandchildren, Ethan and Rylan Prichard; and mother-in-law, Doris Schifferly, of Jeffersonville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John David and Luceal Prichard, and a nephew, Jamie Prichard.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
