Her sharp intellect inspired many conversations and discussions among her co-workers. Halloween was her favorite holiday and the creativity she used to decorate the blood bank each October was legendary.
Her cats Nikki and Lotto survive her and are being well taken care of by dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Stepro, for whom Nicolette was the primary caregiver. Her beloved cats, Wheezy and Timothy, also preceded her in death.
Per Nicolette’s request her body was bequeathed to the University of Louisville.
