Funeral services for Oscar F. Greene, 85, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
He was a native of Louisville, and was retired from LG&E in Louisville. He was an honorary member of the Kentucky Colonel.
Survivors include his wife, Emogene “Jean” Harris Greene; sons, Terry D. Greene, of New Albany, and Michael “Mick” Greene and his wife, Rose, of Georgetown; a brother, Art Greene and his wife, Carol, of Fern Creek, Ky.; and grandchildren, Michael T. and Christina N. Greene, of Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Myrtle Jones Greene, and his brother, Frank Greene.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday, and after 10 a.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Salvation Army.
