Funeral services for Janet Catherine Griffith, 80 of Lexington, Ind., will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday June 12, at Grayson Funeral Home, Charlestown. She died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was born on April 8, 1932, in Red Jacket, W.Va., to Oliver and Laura Curry Murray. She retired from the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown.
She is survived by her sons, Barry Griffith and Jack Griffith, both of Lexington, Ind., and Mike Griffith, of Austin; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Griffith Sr.; and sons, Donnie Griffith and Bill Griffith Jr.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
