Thomas A. McKinney, 80, died Sunday, Nov. 18, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
He was a native of Sheridan, Wy., and was a retired Master Sergeant from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Mary H. McKinney; three sons, Mark McKinney and wife Angela, David McKinney and wife Kathy and Craig McKinney and wife Linda; one brother, William McKinney and wife Mary; one sister Edith Jones and husband Early; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence Lemoine and Mary Alice McKinney; his stepmother Attie McKim; two brothers, Sammy and Clarence “Bud” McKinney; and sister Helen Potter.
There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held for the family.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the Oak Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts, in Mr. McKinney’s honor, may be given to the donor’s charity of choice.
