Funeral services for Christopher Michael Pavey 30, of New Albany, will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 21, at Scott Funeral Home in Jeffersonville.
Chris was born in New Albany and was a 2000 graduate of Jeffersonville High School. He previously worked at A Nice Restaurant and was currently employed with Abelard. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, IU basketball and Notre Dame Football, but most of all he loved his daughter, Lilli. Chris was full of life and everyone that knew him will miss his contagious smile and joking sense of humor.
Survivors include his loving wife, Shannon Pavey; a daughter, Lilli Pavey; his parents, Mike and Debbie Pavey; a sister, Julie Pavey; his grandpa, Winton McHenry (Sunday); four uncles, Mark Pavey (Connie); Larry Pavey (Marsha); Garry Pavey (Juli) and Jeff Pavey (Lora); mother-in-law, Bobbie Wills; an aunt, Nikki Hublar (Jeffrey); two sisters-in-law, Lori Fox and Autumn Murphy; and numerous nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John and Sara Pavey; Mary McHenry; and father-in-law, Jessie Fox.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
