Funeral services for Mary L. Mathews Pennington, 82, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. She died Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany.
She was a native of Salem, and was a retired employee of the New Albany-Floyd County School System at Fairmount Elementary School. She was a longtime member of the First Church of God in New Albany.
She is survived by her son, Terry L. Pennington and his wife, Sandy, of New Albany; daughters, Nancy L. Ford and her husband, Tony, of New Albany, and Lori A. Wells and her husband, John, of Louisville; sister, Evelyn Osborn, of Clarksville; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy M. Pennington.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
