Funeral services for Robert Eberly Orndorff Jr., 81, of Jeffersonville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, at E. M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Eastern Cemetery. He died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at Kindred Hospital.
He was a native of Indianapolis, and a retired meat packer from Morhofer. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, LaVerne Orndorff; daughter, Debra A. Anderson, of Jeffersonville; sons, Dana K. and Jeffery L. Orndorff, of Jeffersonville; sisters, Alreida Butler, of Louisville, Phyllis Brown, of New Albany, and Mary (Thomas) Taylor, of Jeffersonville; brothers, Elmer (Gwen) Orndorff, of Louisville, David Orndorff, of New Albany, Tommy (Sandra) Orndorff, of Louisville, and Charles (Donna) Orndorff, of Jeffersonville; grandchildren, Kevin Anderson, Jason Orndorff, Kenton Anderson and Kenisha Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. Orndorff, Sr. and Alberta Smith Orndoff; and his sisters, Edna Winbourn, Helen Johnson, Ethel Mae King, Edna Geneva Winburn, and Sarah Francer; and brother, Jesse Milton.
Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home..
