Funeral services for William L. Knight, 80, of Jeffersonville, will be at 10 a.m. Monday, March 22, at Branham Tabernacle, 904 Penn St., Jeffersonville, with burial in Eastern Cemetery, Jeffersonville. He died Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his home.
He was a native of Owensboro, Ky., born Dec. 14, 1929. He was an Army veteran and retired store window dresser for Sears and Montgomery Ward. He was a member of Branham Tabernacle, Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his sons, Dale L. Knight, of Tucson, Ariz., Victor Jason Knight, of Clarksville and Alexander D. and Jonathan D. Knight, of Indianapolis; daughter, Jenny Hobbs, of Jeffersonville; brother, Harold L. Knight, of Deer Park, Texas; sisters, Roberta J. Embry, of Jeffersonville, Pauline Brewer, of Ft. Meyers, Fla. and Gladys L. Morris and L. Fay Logsdon, of Owensboro, Ky.; eight grandsons; and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Madline Knight.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville.
