Judy Sharon (Purdin) Maupin

76; Jeffersonville

Judy Sharon (Purdin) Maupin, 76, of Jeffersonville, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2012, at her home surrounded by family.

She was a native of Winchester, Ohio. She enjoyed a long and successful career in the food industry which took her from San Diego to Louisville. She ended her career as the assistant general manager at the Holiday Inn Lakeview in Clarksville, fulfilling twenty years of dedicated service.

 Survivors include her husband, Curtis Wayne Maupin; sister Lynda Purdin Williams and her husband, Ronald, of Winchester, Ohio; children Kitty Colliver Rhodes and her husband, Tim, of Hillsboro, Ohio, Kellie Colliver McHone and her husband, Barry, of Thousand Oaks, Calif. Randy Colliver and his wife, Tammy, of Clarksville, Tenn., Monette Maupin Beam and her husband, William T. Jr., of Prospect, Ky.; six grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  

  She was preceded in death by her parents Gussie Lee Purdin and Bernice Ellis Purdin, of Winchester, Ohio.

    Honoring Judy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services, choosing to be cremated followed by a private family celebration of her life. Legacy Funeral Center of Jeffersonville is in charge of arrangements.

   The family wishes to thank Hosparus of New Albany for their excellent care.
