Funeral services for Ronald E. Simpson, 72, of Clarksville, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, New Albany, with interment at Resthaven Memorial Park, Louisville. He died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012 at his residence.
He was a native of Covington, Ky., and was a retired estimator for SAMAC, Heist and Whitehouse, Industrial Painters. He was a Mason and a member of the Kosair Shrine, Louisville.
Survivors include his son Steve Simpson of Jeffersonville; daughters Teresa McMurry (Greg) of Jeffersonville, Rhonda McGee (Ken) of Floyds Knobs, Jeanine Skaggs (Gary) of Jeffersonville; step mother Edna Hackle of Arizona; brother Raymond Simpson of Arizona; grandchildren Kyle, Kara and Brian McGee.
He was preceded in death by his brother Donald Simpson and his parents Porter and Marie (Wilson) Simpson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
