Funeral services, a going home celebration, for Wilma Gill, 81, of Jeffersonville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, at Park Memorial United Methodist Church, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was a lifetime member of Park Memorial (Park Place) United Methodist Church in Jeffersonville. The family would like to remind everyone that this will be a celebration of Wilma’s Life.
She is survived by her two daughters, Dana Ernspiker and her husband, Steve, and Kathy Weinrich and her husband, Carl; four siblings, Claudia Deen, Jean Killebrew, Ann Grubb and Robert Gilchrist; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Gill; parents, Virgil and Elizabeth Gilchrist; and brother, James Gilchrist.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel and on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Wilma Gill Retreat Scholarship Fund at Park Memorial Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
