Funeral services for Karen K. Deal, 62, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with interment and graveside service at 2 p.m. at Elizaville Cemetery, Elizaville, Ky. She died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at her home.
She was the former Karen Cox. She was a retired billing clerk from Conner Manufacturing, Louisville.
Survivors include her husband, William “Bill” Deal; daughter, Janette L. Deal, of New Albany; brother, Daniel Cox, of New Albany; sister, Rita McLucas, of Milford, Ohio; and mother, Ruby Cox.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Cox, and grandparents, Adam and Suzie Allen, and Raymond and Betty Cox.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. today, at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Southern Indiana or American Cancer Society.
