Funeral services for Violet E. Kepley, 93, of Georgetown, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, at Christ United Methodist Church, Georgetown, with burial to follow in Wolfe Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at the Villas of Guerin Woods, Georgetown.
She was born in New Albany on Feb. 24, 1919, the daughter of James and May Ashabranner McCaffrey.
She was a homemaker and a member of Georgetown Christ United Methodist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Dee Morris, of Evansville, Phyllis Weikel and her husband Ron, of Henderson, Ky., Diane Hirsch and her husband Chuck, of Evansville, and Maxine Evrard and her husband Jim, of Georgetown; 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Coen G. Kepley; a granddaughter, Debra Kay Morris; and a sister, Florence T. McCaffrey.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home, Georgetown, and from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church.
The family suggests memorials be given to her church.
