Funeral services for Christine Valentine, 85, of Jeffersonville, will be at noon Friday, Oct. 26, at Coots Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. She died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She retired from the Greater Clark County Schools system as a custodian, and was a native of Horse Cave, Ky. We will miss you and you are greatly loved.
She is survived by her son, Richard A. Valentine, of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughters, Rosie S. Kee, of Jeffersonville, Valerie Y. Valentine, of Jeffersonville, and Gloria E. Valentine, of Clarksville; grandson, Corneilus Robinson; 11 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sons, James E. Richardson, and Danny Ray Valentine; parents, Roosevelt Richardson and Jane E. Valentine; grandson Kendrick Valentine.
Visitation will be after 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
