Mark C. Bland, 54, of New Albany, died Thursday, Oct. 25, 2012, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville.
He was born Dec. 4, 1957, in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a former employee of Bert R. Huncilman and Son Fabrication in New Albany, and was currently employed as an engineer at General Electric in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Bland; children, Jennifer Robinson and her husband, William, Mark W. Bland and his wife, Sara, Julie Bland and Sam Bland; his mother, Marion Bland; grandchildren, Audrey and Daphne Robinson; and siblings Pam Kovalik, Tom Bland and Cathy Larsen.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Bland.
A celebration of Mark's life will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at the Sheraton Riverside Hotel, 700 West Riverside Dr., Jeffersonville. Kraft Funeral Service, 2776 Charlestown Road, New Albany, is handling the arrangements.
