Funeral services for Margaret Johnson, 103, of Lexington, will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. She died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2012, at Scott Memorial Hospital.
She was born Aug. 12, 1909, in Charlestown, the daughter of Wilbur E. and Virgie S. Crum Mitchell. She was a business woman, operating motels and restaurants, was a member of the Charlestown First United Methodist Church and DAR Greentree Tavern Chapter.
Survivors include her daughter, Connie Kenninger and her husband, Robert, of Lexington; grandchildren, Sheila Kenninger, Lisa Pitzer and her husband, Bob, and Tricia Kenninger and Barry; and great grandchildren, Shelby, Sydney, Aaron and Nicole.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Howard Johnson; and sisters, Esther Kesler and Grace Hill.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday.
