Funeral services for Warner L. ‘Sam’ Wilson, 75, of Somerset, Ky., were at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, at Eckler-McDaniel Funeral Home, 30 S. Main St., in Dry Ridge, Ky. Burial with military honors followed in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North in Williamstown. He died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
He was retired as a general communications supervisor for Norfolk-Southern Railroad with 36 years of service and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnetta Lawrence Wilson; a daughter, Lisa Caudill, of Danville, Ky.; a son, Jeffery Wilson and his wife, Angela, of Georgetown; two sisters, Mary Oberschlake and Sally Wallace, both of Florence, Ky.; and five grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, Grace, Samuel and Madison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo G. Wilson and Virginia Shelton Wilson; and a brother, Louis Wilson.
Visitation at the funeral home was from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday.
