Willis C. Nale

87; of New Albany

Funeral services for Willis C. Nale, C.P.A., 87, of New Albany, will be at 10 a.m. Friday, June 22, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. He died Monday June 18, 2012, at his home.

He was a native of Pekin, and was a founding partner of Jones, Rowland, Nale, Mattingly and Cox CPA’s now Jones Nale and Mattingly CPA’s in Louisville. He was past president of the Kiwanis Club of New Albany, an Army Veteran of World War II and was an Elder for 30 years at the Clarksville Church of Christ.

Survivors include his son, Dr. Stephen W. Nale and his wife, Sharon, of New Albany; daughter, Susan E. Hunt and her husband, Jeff, of Borden;  five grandchildren, Sue Beth Haub and her husband, Michael, Stephanie Barr and her husband, Gerald, Sarah Nale, and Brian and Melissa Hunt, and five great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Bell Nale, his parents, Lafayette and Josie Nale, his brother, Verlin Nale and his sister, Lucille Kauer.

The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers from SonBlest Home Care: Vickie Denhart and Betty Bryant.

Visitation will be from 4 to  8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 10  a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to The Parkinson’s Disease Foundation.
