Susan Alys Backherms, 51, of Sellersburg, died Saturday, March 9, 2013, in Sellersburg.
She was a native of Louisville.
Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Backherms, of Fort Pierce, Fla., and Jessica Backerms, of Jeffersonville; two sisters, Donna Spence and her husband, Derek, of Jeffersonville, and Theresa Coble, of Kentucky; and two brothers, Donald Backherms Jr., of Borden, and Denis Backherms, of New Albany.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alice Danner Backherms.
Cremation was chosen with a private memorial service to be held at a later date.
