Funeral services for Evelyn Moffett Sutton, 86, of Upton, Ky., will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, at Legacy Funeral Center, Jeffersonville, with burial to follow in Eastern Cemetery. She died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, in Upton, Ky.
She was born in Jeffersonville, was a bus driver for Greater Clark Schools for special needs kids, was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 203, Jeffersontown, Ky., Moose Lodge Chapter 1722, Sellersburg, American Legion 35, Jeffersonville, VFW Post 1832, Jeffersonville, and Amvets Post 4.
She is survived by her husband, Jess Sutton; six daughters, Lynn and Theresa Moffett, of Upton, Ky., Carol Barton, of Jeffersonville, Pat Kern, of Port Huron, Mich., and Deborah Jackson and Elaine Sterling, both of Upton; two sons, Gilbert Moffett, of Louisville, and Homer Wigent, of South Whitley, Mich.; four brothers, John, Paul, Donnie, and Harry Burress, all of Jeffersonville; a sister, Debbie Cole, of Jeffersonville; and many grand and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 9, and 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
