Funeral services for Darolene June Wilson, 81, of New Albany, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, at the Market Street Chapel of Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, New Albany, with interment to follow in Edwardsville Cemetery. She died Friday, May 25, 2012, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She was a native of Milltown, and was the daughter of the late Fred & Hazel [Harpe] Stroud. She was the widow of Raymond C. “Chet” Wilson.
Survivors include two sons, Alan Ray Wilson and his wife Roxann, of Jeffersonville, and Jeffrey S. Wilson and his wife Tina, of Edwardsville; three daughters, Diana K. Parsley and her husband Daniel, of Sellersburg, Nancy L. Martin and her husband Gordon, of New Albany, and Debbie A. Donan and her husband Larry, of New Albany; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and a devoted niece, Ann Wheatley-Van Gundy.
Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Corn Sheckells.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
