Funeral services for Graham Hamilton Hinton Sr., 81, of Jeffersonville, will be 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, at Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery. He died Thursday, April 26, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Speed and was a retired manager from General Electric. He was a member of First Christian Church, the Jeffersonville Evening Optimist Club, Clark County Casting and Conservation Club, Wine Tasters and Tuesday Evening Golf Scrambles.
He is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Etheridge and her husband, Luke, of Jeffersonville, and Pamela Kruer and her husband Tom, of Athens, Ga.; a sister, Sue Ann Clements, of Clarksville; and four grandchildren, Andy Ogden, of Athens, Ga., and Luke Etheridge and his wife, Erin, Alex Ogden, and Kody Etheridge, of Jeffersonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Hinton; his parents, Chester and Mable Hinton; and a son, Graham H. Hinton Jr.
Visitation will be from 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to First Christian Church or the Jeffersonville Optimist Youth Foundation. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
