A memorial service for William Franklin “Willie” Carlisle, 53, of Clarksville, will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 7, at Emmanuel Methodist Church, Otisco, with burial in the church cemetery. He died suddenly on May 2, 2012.
He was born Jan. 19, 1959, in Jeffersonville.
Survivors include his father, Maurice E. Carlisle, of Brandenburg, Ky.; sisters, Karen and Mary Carlisle, of New Albany, Lisa Carlisle, of Florida, Sandra Carlisle, of Jeffersonville, and Margaret Carlisle, of Michigan; and his nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Doris Ann Kahl Carlisle.
Memorial visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, at the church, 9199 Old State Road 3, Otisco.
