Funeral services for Barbara (Scott) McWhorter, 58, of Louisville, will be at 7 p.m. today, Dec. 29, at J.B. Ratterman & Sons, 2114 W. Market St., Louisville, with cremation to follow. She died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012, at St. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
She was a creative homemaker who loved to cook and garden and loved most to be with her family. She was a wonderful mother.
Survivors include her sons, Mark Scott and his wife Leah, Michael McWorter Jr. and his wife Becky and Robert McWhorter and his wife Shannon; her daughter, Tracy McWhorter; a brother, Thomas Scott; her loving companion, Jesse Evans; and her former husband, Michael McWhorter Sr.
Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
