Funeral services for Grace Elaine Clemons, 77, of Charlestown, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Harvest Chapel Church of the Nazarene, 1544 Plank Road, Jeffersonville, with burial in Walnut Ridge Cemetery, Jeffersonville. She died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
She retired as a secretary from I.C.I. America Powder Plant, and was a member of Harvest Chapel Nazarene Church.
She is survived by her sons, Charles K. Kinney, of New Salisbury, and Stephen W. Clemons, of Memphis; grandchildren, Michael K. Kinney, Matthew R. Kinney, Rachael E. Clemons, and Eric S. Clemons; great-grandchild, Kyle M. Kinney; sisters, Sharon Y. McMahel, of Charlestown, and Patricia A. Hutchinson, of Charlestown; brother, Ronald A. Kennedy, of Louisville; and sister-in-law, Elaine Kennedy, of Clarksville.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charles K. Kennedy; mother, Venie Kennedy; and brother, Charles L. Kennedy.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, and after 10 a.m. Friday, at the church.
