Funeral services for Raymond Earl Adkins, 84, of Jeffersonville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 12, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Ebenezer Church Cemetery. He died Friday, Feb. 8, 2013, at his home.
He retired as maintenance at the Census Bureau. He was an Army Veteran in the Korean War.
Survivors include his sons, Terry Adkins, of Jeffersonville, Mark Adkins, of Jeffersonville, and Brian Adkins, of Jeffersonville; daughters, Rajean Dunn, of Jeffersonville, and Debbie Adkins, of Jeffersonville; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Danny Dale Adkins, father, Easom Adkins, and mother, Bell Adkins.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
