Funeral services for Jessie Smith, 89, of Sellersburg, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 11, at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery. She died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She previously worked at White House department store in New Albany, was a member of Northside Christian Church and a former member of Sellersburg Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Mike Smith and his wife, Karen, of Sellersburg; a daughter, Peggy Haas and her husband, Don, of Sellersburg; grandchildren, Todd Haas and his wife, Gwen, Tim Haas and his wife, Lynne, and Dawn Myers and his her husband, Chris; and great-grandchildren, Amanda, Olivia, Alex, Caity, Anna, Phoebe, and Gus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, “Smitty” and a son, Gary Smith P.F.C.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and after 9 a.m. Monday, at the funeral home.
