Glen Maxwell Everhart Sr.

88; of New Albany

Memorial service for Glen Maxwell Everhart Sr., 88, of New Albany, will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 27, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Jeffersonville. He died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.

He was a retired accountant from General Electric, a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, a WWII Navy veteran, involved in Habitat for Humanity and loved fishing and golfing.

Survivors include his son, Glen M. Everhart Jr. (Ellen) of Charlestown; daughters Elizabeth Welch and Barbara Sluss both of New Albany; grandsons Nathan Everhart (Melanie) of Greenville and Kyle Welch of New Albany; granddaughters Heather Randolph (Randy), Ramsey and Jessica Welch of New Albany; great-grandchildren Andrew, Katie and Wyatt; and brother Marvin Everhart (Anna Mary) of Guntersville, Ala.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alice Everhart; his parents Charles and Hilda Everhart; and son Paul Everhart.

Expressions of sympathy can be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Association, 107 Pennsylvania St., Indianapolis, IN 46204. Envelopes will be available at the memorial service.

Arrangements are by Scott Funeral Home’s North Chapel in Jeffersonville.
