CHARLESTOWN —
Funeral services for Lillian Tungate Doyle Thomas, 87, of Charlestown, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, at Grayson Funeral Home, in Charlestown, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. She died Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Wedgewood Manor Healthcare Center.
She was born on Jan. 5, 1923, in Louisville, the daughter of Tom and Dorothy Schilt Tungate who preceded her in death. She was a former floor lady for ICI and a member of the Grace Lutheran Church in New Albany.
She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte Morris, of Jeffersonville, Elana Bussey and her husband George, of Lexington, Ind., Jean Brafford and her husband Dan, of Charlestown, and Roxie Abbott Marysville, sons; Charles M. Doyle and his wife Joyce, of Jeffersonville, Carl T. Doyle and his wife Barbara, of Stephensport, Ky., 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation at the funeral home will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday and after 9 a.m. Tuesday.
