Shirley Ann Crandall, 80, of Charlestown, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at the Hosparus Inpatient Care Center in Louisville. No services are scheduled.
She was born Sept. 21, 1931 to George W. and Mildred Thomas Risinger in Dugger and was a former assistant librarian at the Charlestown Library.
Survivors include her brother F. Thomas Risinger and his wife Donna of Dugger; sister-in-law Mary Jo Risinger of Jeffersonville; special nieces Diane Smith of Cicero and Gail Messmore of Jeffersonville; cousins George and Shirley Bowman of Griffith and Janet Bowman of Dugger.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard Crandall who died 18 years ago; sisters Phyllis Pickett and Sally Pickett; and brother Jack Risinger.
Interment of her ashes will be in New Albany National Cemetery.
Grayson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
