Funeral services for Elnora Hawkins, 90, of Henryville, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 15, at Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 714 East Utica St., Sellersburg, with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Henryville. She died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Maple Manor Christian Home, Sellersburg.
She was a native of Hart County, Ky., was a homemaker, wife and mother, and a devoted member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Nora Pryor and her husband, James, of Henryville, and Joyce Smith and her husband, Mike, of Alta Loma, Calif.; stepdaughters, Beverly Benningham, Charlotte Hamm, Evelyn Cameran, and Connie Compton; sons, William Brown, of Clarksville, and Donald Brown, of Louisville; stepson, Andy Hawkins; 37 grandchildren; and several loving great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Hawkins; son, Henry Brown; stepdaughter, Geraldine Hall; and stepson, James Hawkins.
Visitation at Garr Funeral Home, Sellersburg, will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday, and at the church after 9 a.m. Monday.
