Funeral services for William Allen Baity Jr., 92, of New Albany, will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Magazine Street Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1942 Magazine St., with burial in Green Meadows Cemetery. He died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2010, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He was a native of Athens, Ala. and was a 30-year retired employee of American Standard. He was a member of Magazine Street Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Daisy Baity; children, William P. Baity, Cynthia Crenshaw, (Jasper), Patricia Weathers (Sidney), Larry Baity (Vivian), Benjamin Baity (Vikki), Gregory Baity (Judy) and Kathy King (Michael); 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Leonard Baity.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday. G.C. Williams Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
