Nancy Louise Smith, 78, of Jeffersonville, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2012, at Clark Rehabilitation Center in Clarksville.
She was a member of St. Stephen Church of Southern Indiana.
Survivors include two daughters, Sylvia Sirmons and her husband, James, and Rhonda Rivers and her husband, Mark, both of Jeffersonville; seven grand children; 15 great-grandchildren; and a host of nephews and nieces, and many friends, who all knew her as Mom or Aunt Nancy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Smith; and her mother, Louise Cobb.
Her remains were bequeathed to the University of Louisville Medical Center for ongoing research and development.
There will be a memorial service at a later date at the University of Louisville.
