A Funeral Mass for Elthda Marie “Sis” Sellers, 87, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, at St. Mary’s Navilleton Catholic Church, with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park. She died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.
She was born April 4, 1925, in Memphis, to the late Herman and Ethel (Briner) Broadus. Sis was a member of St. Mary's Navilleton Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children, William Sellers and his wife, Maureen, of New Albany, Richard Sellers and his wife, Maria, of Greenville, Paula Robinson, of Floyds Knobs, Gary Sellers and his wife, Pat, of Floyds Knobs, Frank Sellers and his wife, Karon, of Georgetown, Jeff Sellers and his wife, Heidi, of Memphis and Anita Bachman and her husband, Joe, of Greenville; brothers, Ivan, Ronald and Bernard Broadus; sisters, Betty Grimm, Jean Brisaber, Juanita Neville and Artie Jennings; 16 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Vernon Sellers and her brothers, Patrick Broadus and James Broadus.
Visitation at the Charlestown Road Chapel of Kraft Funeral Service in New Albany will be from 1 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 20, and after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
