Funeral services for Harry E. Risinger, 78, of New Albany, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home, Oak Street Chapel, New Albany, with private interment. He died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services, New Albany.
He was a native of New Albany and a retired welder.
Survivors include daughters, Carolyn Risinger-Green, of Louisville, Jamie Woods, of Corydon, and Amanda Green, of New Albany; brother, William Risinger, of Turners Station, Ky.; sister, Virginia Malloy, of New Albany; 15 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcella Bottom Risinger; his sons, Harry Glenn Risinger and Jerry Dwain Risinger; a brother, Robert Risinger; sisters June Kneeland and Mae Consley; and his parents, Robert Lee Risinger and Elizabeth Douglas Risinger.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, at the funeral home.
