Funeral service and celebration of life for Donald Edward Williamson Sr., 78, of New Albany, will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Homes, Market Street Chapel, New Albany, with entombment in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park, New Albany. He died Monday, July 2, 2012, at Rolling Hills Healthcare Center.
He was a native of Jeffersonville, an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War and was the owner of Don Williamson Heating and Air.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Koch Williamson; three sons, Don Williamson Jr. and his wife, Becky, David Williamson and his wife, C.J., and Dan Williamson and his wife, Vicki; his daughter, Diane Williamson and her husband, Gary; five grandchildren, Rebekah, Leah, David Thomas, Danielle and Jordan Williamson; and one great-grandchild, Carter and his little fur ball, Panda Bear.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Floyd County Division of the Alzheimer’s Association.
