Funeral services for Loransey Lee “Mac” McCawley, 75, of Jeffersonville, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, at E.M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. He died Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services.
He retired from construction work as an equipment operator. He was a native of Adair County, Ky.
He is survived by his brothers, Rev. Norris McCawley and wife, Marylin, of Columbia, Ky., Rev. Lawrence McCawley Jr., of Borden, Rev. L.C. McCawley and wife, Judy Ann, of Charlestown, and Robert Neal McCawley and wife, Delores, of Scottsburg; sisters, Barbara Jewel Stone, of Columbus, Ky., and Brenda Carol Mullins and husband, Harry, of Scottsburg; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence McCawley Sr.; mother, Susie McCawley; sister, Shelia Joyce Glenn; sister-in-law, Judith Reha McCawley; brother-in-law, James Stone.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
