Funeral services for Maurine E. Scott, 92, formerly of Marysville, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Virginia Avenue Methodist Church, 10015 Stonestreet Road, Valley Station, Ky., with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery. She died Saturday, Feb. 4, 2012, at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born to the late Roy and Pearl Peters in Marysville. She was retired from Stuart Middle School where she worked as an aide for the library.
Survivors include her nephews, CT Steele, of New Washington, and Condit B. Steele, of Jeffersonville; and other nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Grayson Funeral Home, New Washington, and after 9 a.m. Thursday at the church.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to Marysville Christian Church, Marysville, IN 47141.
