Funeral services for Ava Ethel Eddings, 86, of Jeffersonville will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 29 at E. M. Coots’ Sons Funeral Home, Jeffersonville. She died Friday, Feb. 24, 2012 in her home.
She was a native of Tennessee, retired from Colgate and was a member of Harvest Chapel Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her son Gary L. (Wanda) Eddings of Jeffersonville; grandchildren Ricky A. Rooks of Scottsburg and Donna McDole of Noblesville; great grandchildren Jessica Reasor of Anderson, Jacob Rooks and Hannah Rooks both of Underwood; and two great great grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest B. Eddings; great grandchild Taryn Vires; sisters Julie Brown, Ruby Welch, Louella Spivey and Ima Mae Bailey; brother Otis Lee Bailey.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
